While I was studying to be a creativity coach, one of my teachers instructed the class to find a niche to build our practice. I live in an area replete with television and motion picture production, so I figured the Motion Picture Industry Technician would be the perfect client for my fledging practice.


At that time, I wasn’t sure if I could coach. I didn’t have confidence, experience or knowledge. What I did have was passion, and a lifetime of living the creative life. Is it possible when we gain experience, we also gain confidence? And when we gain confidence, we gain clarity, empowering us to seize the possibilities that present themselves?


As I developed my creativity coaching practice, I began to see other possibilities. I wanted to broaden my scope and work with people who want to live the creative life, whether as a full time profession or a part-time hobby, or dedicating that precious hour in the morning to their creativity before family and job responsibilities take over.
